Some bugs are simply terrified of us and our big, scary cameras. Some, like this little grasshopper, seem as intrigued with us and our cameras as we are with them.

I'll be the first to admit I don't like bees, however, I do like to photograph them. I realize how odd this might sound to some, but they are neat critters to photograph. The bad side is that macros . . .

While on the way back from Parfrey's Glen this fella landed on Gideon's backpack. I at that time had the backpack in my hand. I eyed the bug and my full hands... just the luck. A bug would appear . . .
